Self-discipline

Self-discipline is something that no one else except yourself can do for yourself, but it is amongst the most important things when it comes to change and success. With self-discipline, you have the capability to accomplish anything you can imagine… ANYTHING! All you have to do is get up, and do it.

Just do it. Whatever it is. If you are trying to improve your fitness, find a way to make sure you contribute to that goal in any way you can, every single day. If you are trying to progress in your career, just make sure that every single day you are doing something, anything to get closer to that goal.

Can you see a pattern here?

  1. Choose the goal that you are working towards. (even if it is something as small as cutting out a spoon of sugar in your coffee) Identify what it is that you want to do.

  2. Do it. Don’t just think about it. Do it.

  3. Don’t stop doing it. The minute you stop and break the momentum you can see that goal getting further and further into the distance.

  4. If you stop, carry on with it as soon as possible and do everything you can to make sure you don’t fall off the wagon again!
